A Message from Central Nebraska Rehabilitation Services:

As a valued part of the Central Nebraska Rehabilitation Services family, we appreciate you trusting your health to us and our staff.

As concerns about COVID-19 continue, we want you to know about the measures we continue to take to ensure your health and safety when you visit our clinics. Our locations are open to care for your therapy and rehabilitation needs, and will continue to remain open to serve you.

Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy services are listed as part of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)’s “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help State and local officials as they work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security. Per issuance of the Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response from the CISA, we continue to operate in order to keep patients healthy and out of hospital and emergency room settings. We want to take this opportunity to share more details about the comprehensive measures our clinics are implementing while we remain open.

1. All staff are updated daily on the status of COVID-19, and all health and safety protocols per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the US Department of Health.

2. We will continue to provide services while minimizing exposure risks to our patients and staff. In this process, we are screening all our patients upon entry with a series of questions regarding the status of their general health as well as the health of others with whom they are in contact.

3. We are diligently sanitizing all patient care spaces and surfaces on a consistent and frequent basis, cleaning with CDC-approved cleaning agents. Our employees are practicing good hand hygiene, and we continue to stock our facilities with supplies in order to meet this expectation. In addition, we have properly spaced our equipment and treatment tables to best comply with CDC recommendations about how to create safe patient care in a clinical setting. Whenever possible we will treat patients in a private room to ensure a high degree of safety. We also ask all patients and family members to wash hands and/or sanitize hands as they enter and exit each clinic.

4. We have minimized traffic into our clinics to be able to ensure patients have their own space when completing exercises, with only essential family members or caregivers allowed. We have suspended all visits from others, including any outside vendors, students, and non-essential staff.

5. Following CDC guidelines, our staff are wearing masks to reduce the possibility of transmission.

Additionally, Physicians and Patients currently have the following options for care:

1) In-clinic visits

2) Home visits (when appropriate)

3) Telehealth (when appropriate)

4) E-visits (when appropriate)

We continue to employ the above procedures, and we thank you for your continued support of your locally owned and operated therapy services.
